Virtue Beauty Co. wasn’t just a business idea; it was a calling. A few months ago, God kept sending me a notification on my phone to listen to a podcast I had no interest in. I ignored it at first, but His nudge persisted. Finally, I gave in and listened—and what I heard changed everything.

The podcast was about the theology of money—good money versus bad money—and how Christians with businesses could honor God through their work. It shared the story of Lydia, a woman of faith from the Bible who was not only a successful entrepreneur but also a devoted servant of God. As I listened, I felt a fire in my heart. I knew this was God speaking to me. Lydia’s story inspired me to step into my purpose and create a business devoted to the Kingdom.
